Welcome to Family & Children's Service 
Family & Children's Service is one of the oldest nonprofit organizations in the Twin Cities. For more than 130 years, our organization has given help and hope to more than one million people. Over 600 volunteers help support our mission of building strong families, vital communities and capable children.

We provide mental health counseling offered on a sliding fee scale based on income and ability to pay (insurance is also accepted). We have 20 licensed therapists and four branch locations on East Lake Street, Brooklyn Park, Downtown Minneapolis and Bloomington.
